I can hardly believe in just the few short days since Stwrap® was officially launched to the public, the response has been incredible! We've already sold out of some pro and collegiate teams, but not to worry, we have more on the way. I'm still in shock that our University of Michigan Stwrap sold out before Ohio State! But I'm happy to report the gap is rapidly closing. So hats off to all you diehard Buckeye fans!

Hi! I'm Tom Augustine, inventor of Stwrap®. Thanks for taking a minute to learn about how I came up with my idea. To give you a little background on how it all got started you have to understand a little bit about my life. I'm a husband to my wonderful wife Gina, father of two awesome children, Alainna and Nathan, an inventor, and a marketing entrepreneur. As an inventor, my mind is wired to constantly look for new ideas in what I observe and experience. This drives my wife and kids nuts! One day, a "light bulb" moment struck while I was dropping my kids off at school. I noticed every student and every teacher was carrying a bag of some sort—whether it was a backpack, sports bag, duffle bag, or a laptop case.
My mind started racing. I went straight home and counted all the bags we have around the house—backpacks, duffle bags, laptop bags, camera bags, beach bags, golf bags, lunch bags, shopping totes, luggage, and purses. I was shocked to discover there were over 50 different bags just under our roof. I consider our household pretty much average when it comes to the amount of gear and general stuff we haul around each day for work, school, sports and other activities. I realized there had to be plenty of other families in the same situation. After further observations on the number of bags I noticed at trade shows and throughout my travels, I started doing the math. There are billions of bags in the world! Then I asked myself, "What do all these bags have in common?" Of course, straps!
My mind then jumped from inventing into marketing mode. What a huge, and overlooked, opportunity! I realized all marketing promotion is typically placed on the bag itself, with the strap serving only a utilitarian function. I immediately saw those dull, boring straps as prime marketing real estate for extending any brand. So, what better way to liven up those straps than with something that's collectible, expressive, and fun for all ages. That, my friends, is how the idea for the Stwrap began.
Now that you're here, take a look at how this hot new accessory wraps around almost any 1" to 1.5" strap. Hence the name, Stwrap. Check out all the leagues and teams you can choose from. I hope you have as much fun using them as I did creating them!
